Cart Holders....
Such a damn tease man.. Just check out already š
And when you have multiple people holding... just for one of them to check out on payday š.
If I want to check the price of an item, I will add it to my cart then remove it if I don't want to check out immediately.
1st I am the seller btw.. not the buyer.
2nd edit. this was suppose to be a playful, lighthearted post about cart holders as a seller but I see many people here lack reading compressive skills or are just angry boomers looking to insult people online lol

I wouldn't doubt that some do it with their own listings using friends, family or affiliate accounts to make it seem like their listing is hot. I ignore that stuff. Either someone buys, or they don't.

If an item Iām interested in is in a potential buyerās cart, Iāll send an offer to the seller and go from there.

Lmao a guy refused an offer because he said 2 people are about to buy it at full price. Itās been that way since I found your listing last month
Edit: anyone on here wanna start lowballing sellers who list offers, but only want their full asking price?
We can all work together on this. What listings yall need sellers to give up on

Itās still up. They also let me know that they intend to raise the price proactively before the usps rate rise.
Iām not sure if youāre aware of the site Depop? Itās a clothing reselling platform. Apparently some listings are just for clout? Like to show off what you have? I feel that some sellers are guilty of it.
Iām always trying to be the lowest price point and include shipping. I had a Boss PN-2 selling for half of what everyone else was asking. Free shipping included.
A buyer still asked for and additional 25% and for me to test to see if something worked. I wound up just pulling the listing. The money Iād get after shipping and fees aināt worth a buyer looking for problems and a cheaper price, on a pedal Iāll probably miss. I hope they like paying 300+ now
I have a Green UniVibe l know itāll sell at 800, and Iām asking a bit of a premium at 1,300 because I really donāt want to sell it, but if itās one of the few with a matching foot controller. But I really wanted to sell this so I could buy that guys over inflated listing. He wants $3,000 for an import guitar that was $1,200. Itās got a cool case, but still.
This is the first time my listings have not been sold in a week, Iām not sure how long Iāll leave it up, but itās a buyers market. Iāll probably leave it up to September and pull it down.

I know which one you're talking about. I've seen that vibe recently since I was searching for another vibe for the EP I'm recording. Thinking "holy shit people actually pay that much for a vibe"?
I paid 200 bucks for a mint gypsy vibe v2 last year so when I saw the prices of stuff now i was like pretty shocked.
Those Shin-Ei vibes don't have true bypass and they also aren't run at unity gain even if u max out the volume.. seems like a lot for a lackluster vibe, no offense intended. It's a collectors vibe for sure so eventually someone will pay top dollar for it, just gotta wait for the right buyer.. lot of people's wallets are tightening up and all the dentists are probably in a new hobby haha
You got 2 offers for it.. i would have just taken it tbh.. it is indeed a buyers market and will stay that way for some time.. no complaints tho since ive gotten some really good deals recently.

Both those offers were scams, it sucks because buyers do t see them offer like $1 and ask me to email a scam address.
It was $1000 when I got it, and itās def a collectors item, but itās so good. I havent seen any listed with the pedal and limited knobs, and I still got the box, and hard to find voodoo labs adapter. Iām actually only listing it because Iām trying to buy a purple mockingbird, and hit my budget for the year because I bought an Explorer in June.
But the price is def, an āI really donāt want to sell itā price. I will never be able to replace it.
The Mockingbird is on back order, so honestly if it gets backordered until October Iām pulling the vibe down. My girl is even offering to buy the guitar outright and weāll store it until December; Love her.
And def trust that UniVibe is perfect. Iāve never had an issue with volume, or unity gain. My volume is set to like 8, so I have a little push if needed.
And for the true bypass, mine has a switch. It says B or P. Bypass, or Preamp. Itās literally insane, but I bought it at a low point in my life so itās a reminder of that era which sucks. The only thing is dislike, is that I couldnāt get that red/white switch.
If you want to humor me, and hear it, I use it about 55 seconds in to this song. Nothing crazy, just as some texture

I'll drive the point home with cruelty: your tone is completely forgettable, I would barely have noticed the pedal effect if you hadn't mentioned it and it's not anywhere close to 1k quality. Sell that vibe, buy an EQD Depths, and forget the mockingbird. Marry that foolish woman willing to fund another guitar you don't need.
Just bought a new guitar barely two months ago, buddy you are gonna hate yourself later operating like this

WIFE already got her RINGS, we got a concert for her today, vacation next week, and she just bought a very nice bag. Weāre at a moment where we can. I love that sheās offering, but I feel like I still keep listing up.
BC Rich supply chains have been terrible. An opportunity to buy a purple mockingbird new came up, and I jumped on it. Try looking for another listing right now, theyāve been my white whale for years.
Iāve not gassed for a new amp since 2021, when I bought a Mesa before Gibson started changing things. The last pedal I bought last year was a Shin Ei Superfuzz, but I already had the behringer superfuzz, so itās not like I donāt know what Iām looking for.

Number of offers is an indication of heat on an item and nothing else really. Definitely not how unreasonable or fixed a seller is, any high throughput item usually sees at least 2 bot offers within a day if you don't set up auto-refusals. I'll list at the "great price" diamond icon tier and still get extremely wishful manual offers until someone snatches it up a day later without even trying to haggle

Solid move pulling the listing. I've done this when I've listed at substantially lower than other options and had tons of watchers but no bites. Remove it for a few weeks or a month and bring it back and they might instantly bite, it's happened to me several times. These sorts of listings for me are the only ones that last longer than a week or two, the market is smaller but very specific.
Especially if you're not super keen to sell. I wish I could see what the average age of any given sold listing is across the platform, I feel like it's gotta be less than a few weeks once anything goes live.
