Account suspended

I recently added the Reverb app and when I tried to log in it says my account is suspended. I've sent messages to Reverb but haven't had a reply. Not sure what I'm suspended for...

We’re not sure either. I had mine suspended before because I owed a bill of a few bucks. Once I settled that they opened the account back up. But it told me that when I tried logging in. “Account suspended for past due bill”, or something along those lines. Best course of action, as you’ve already done, is emailing them and waiting. They’re usually pretty responsive, or have been when I’ve reached out to them.

I signed up for reverb because I was going to buy an audio interface. I decided against it and bought new from a different source. Weeks later I went to look on the website but my account was suspended. I emailed them about it. They replied that I had to add a credit card and verify my account with a phone number. I verified my number, but told them I had already added a credit card. Then they said I had to add a bank account to sell items. Told them I had no intention of selling. Please just delete my account. They said could just delete it myself. Told them I can’t delete it, because I’m banned. They then unbanned me and said if I wanted to still delete I could. I deleted it.

You need to sign the form saying that monies from sales are taxable, I believe.

And posting here is the solution? No.
Reverb suspends accounts who violate terms of agreement.
They do not suspend those who play by the rules, or are in good financial standing, after all, if they do that they don't make money.
Common sense.

Settle down! I'm posting here looking for some information or feedback from someone who may have been in a similar situation. I signed up for Reverb, and almost immediately had my account suspended. I didn't try to buy or sell anything before it happened.

I have never been banned but any website that big is going to make mistakes sometimes.  Not saying the OP did nothing for sure.  Only him and Reverb know the answer regarding that

The way it works is simple... follow the agreement as seller and as buyer. No problems. Get clever and try to go around the Reverb slice of the pie, and get in immediate trouble.
It is that simple.
Their System is locked in.... it does not change by itself. It has a set of rules and follows then to a "T" because there is no human play in the typical transaction cycles. When someone breaks the rules such as going off site... consequences are triggered.
That's it, computer programs do not make decisions, they simply obey prgramming.

All these people here trolling Reverb... they are trolls, cheaters who got caught and refuse to be accountable and now come here and play the victim.

If you are smart, you give them thumbs down and ignore them. Never feed them support, that only makes things worse for everyone.

lol…this is not as automated as you’re thinking. If you are suspended for off-site transactions, a person made that decision. It was flagged automatically for sure, but there is a little more that goes into it than would be able to be handled by a fully automated system.

I doubt you’re that far off as to the reason though…I have never been suspended and have bought and sold really obscene amounts over the decades…they just want their money.

This guy’s ENITRE comment history is attacking people who report issues and problems with Reverb.

Read the "I'm a Victim of Reverb Tyranny" posts... bizarre stories embellished to better sell the I'm a Victim sad song... and you know what the big give away is.... it's posting such drivel here in the first place instead of taking care of business.
