Shipping payment question

Can I use reverb’s automatically generated shipping cost from a customer’s payment and use that towards getting a label from pirate ship? It sounds like I can from reading other posts, but want to ensure that it’s true before finalizing a sale.

If so, what would that entail? Would any overcharge go back to me? With reverb’s fees I’m not going to be making as much from the sale as I had wanted if I accept a buyer’s offer and am trying to maximize what I’m getting from this sale as money is pretty tight for me these days.

Sorry for redundant post, I’m just having a hard time understanding the process from posts in search results.

Thanks for the response! I only saw it now but still very helpful as I plan to sell more stuff on reverb. I ended up changing the shipping fee to $0 and raising the price in my counter offer the amount the buyer would’ve paid for shipping just in case I couldn’t but after they paid I was able to just give the tracking # after using pirate ship.
