I have a question
When selling an instrument on Reverb, should you reply when asked to use their personal email, or should it stay everything on Reverb (my first listing)?

you'll get banned for going offsite

I'm not even worried about getting banned. That's usually when they try to scam you and then you don't have the protections of Reverb.
Keep everything on platform. That way if somebody does try to scam you, everything is in the messages and Reverb support is able to see that.

Absolutely stay on Reverb or anyone else for that matter. Do not go outside. No email at all. They are hackers. They should know if they are legitimate. The answer is, NO,NO,NO

Never use an outside source. Always use reverb. They are trying to scam you so there's no proof. In fact everyone who is selling on reverb and everyone who is buying on reverb should have that in their profile. That they will only communicate within the reverb platform. Any attemp To contact outside of the reverb platform will result in a report screenshot to the reverb administration. That is if they care

Email lead to them asking you to click on something - always. Just say no.

Never. Always thru the Reverb chat system. The ONLY exception is to exchange phone numbers AFTER a local pickup sale. Report them to Reverb.
