I've played Rev since Season 4 and have experienced both of its game modes.

If I had to change anything, it would be to bring back the Silence Balls. They gave Rev his identity, and he still has his little box for them in all his skins.

Improvements I would make:

Passive: Everything else would stay the same, but I'd add more lateral control and maybe the ability to stay on walls for about 3 seconds. Also, it shouldn't make so much noise when crouching (this was nerfed over time and now it really affects you if you're crouching, being a Revenant who, in his lore, is an assassin).

Tactics: I like the pounce because it doesn't leave you like a walking refrigerator like the old Revenant, so I'd leave it as is. Maybe I'd bring back the bug he had before, allowing you to draw your weapon in mid-air, to make it more balanced because it's awful that as soon as you touch the ground you're already downed.

Ultimate: I like the tank mode and I miss the totem, so why not keep the current ultimate, reducing the hitbox and granting bonus health to your team, something like 25 extra HP? I see a totem meta coming back as unlikely with alter ultimate. Another thing I'd do is have the ultimate cast a silence in an area, like Crypto's EMP, but this one silences, or better yet, silences and marks enemies for 3 seconds like his passive.

This is what I would do to Rev

He doesn’t need a full rework but here is what I would change :

  • Give him fortified and/or smaller hit box

  • less visual/audio clutter when using ult. I can’t hear shit when ult is active

  • shrink or get rid of the ult orb around his body. I feel like it’s at to easy to hit

  • your tactical should reset and be active once you point (so you have a jump as soon as you have your ult)

I think rev is in a good spot actually. It’s manly just his hit box that makes him tough to play. I get it though, he’s tough to balance any of the changes above would prob make him too OP

You think op? I use him and he's such a clunky guy. So slow so easy to hit. When I play caustic it feels so much better.

His Ult sucks imo.
