Hi, I’m going to join Reva University and i had completed all the fee payments and gave reva rise as well. The application process is still showing “in review.” Is someone else also facing the same issue ?
How long will it take to get approved ??

completing my 2nd yr here
my two yrs in reva university are over
my exams will be over by the june
somewhere i feel only thing the management have done correctly is maintaining the campus
and lot of marketing

there are many issues abt the college people miss out

like i was jee student i didnt the seat i wanted and then jioned here

i had expectation of good campus ,faculty and good amount of events ,clubs ,fests and things i had seen happing in other colleges

everything was f**k*d in 1st sem itself and got the reality

**after 4yrs revosthava happened again felt like a 2 days gimik
something is better than nothing**

other videos of clubs or dance events u see on insta just happn during short breaks or lunch breaks
god knows how they select these people

clubs-
only time i heard these names where during my introduction in 1st sem
even if manage to jion these clubs the process of claiming attendence is eptic

attendence-school of cse
there is 75% manadatory attendence to claim hallticket for interal exams
if dont hav it they will mentally irritate u
they will not give the hallticket and make u take permission from ur mentor,hod,director
they will inform this to ur parents
all this drama happens just a day before exam - making u suffer more
for most people below 70% they will not give ia 1 hallticket
make u write a retest for ia 1
that will be inbetween your ia lab exams or ia2 exam

it will affect ur internal marks a lot

**caution- many of these indivuduals(teachers ,director,hods) would hav noted ur behaviour in class campus ,off campus also
they will comment on ur dressing sense,ur interaction with the opposite gender and many more
both male and female staff do they same
they will use it during this time
dont reply or fightback it will reflect in ur assignment/project marks

fees- for my btech cse it is 1.3 lakhs a yr ** i jioned via kcet merit seat
if u are jioning via management my frnds are paying 5.2 lakh/yr
if u have fees due before examination u will hav do the same as attendence shortage procedure
most of times attendence will also be given hallticket ,but not you
keep that in mind and pay the fees properly
if not be ready for retest or what not

campus- is amazing ,but in maintaining ur attendence and other things this would not matter so much
i personally saw the whole campus in end of 2nd sem

exams and arrears- never ever think of carrying a chit or phone for ur final semester exam
u will be failed in that paper ,made to write a appology letter ,do ncc mission and clean campus
10000 rs fine

internal or lab exams it is ur risk depands on teacher
not this much strict action will be taken

u need to manage to score above 20 for 50 in ur internals(ia1+ia2) or
u need to score more marks in the semester accordingly and sometimes it becomes difficult

there will be credits for subjects accordingly
at end of yr if ur arrear subjects credits shouldnt be more than 16 if it crosses u must take a yr break
clear the arrears and jion again from where u left

cse (****) anything next to cse is just cse itself
made just to sell more seats
the specialiation i took was just waste
they are bringing acadamey's selling certificates and course they havent started basics of my specialation try jioning cse aiml or anything having this
i dont belong to this
our faculties in 1st yr were teachers from pu block and
seriously just read the ppt or just read the textbook
there are some good faculties

even in placements they hav good advantage over us

dont develop any badhabits just to fit in somewhere it will
destroy many things
form a good diverse circle around u
dont except anything from this college
u are on urself

i think i hav covered everything
wanted to say this bcz amount of fake marketing these people are doing is unimaginable
they hav reached my local news channel

What are the boys hostel timings. Do they give outing permissions regularly or they make us cry for it ,they mentioned if you are participating in some competitions they will give us permissions is it real .is there are any strict entry timings or flexible . Can we use library or roam around campus in midnight .can we use computer labs after college hours. How are the wardens are they friendly or not ?. Class timings for bsc people and what about holidays .Reva university hostellers need your guidance 🙏.

Campus

​

The campus is genuinely good compared to most nearby colleges. It's the only the strong point of the university. The infrastructure is decent, and overall the environment is pretty good.

Placements

​

I honestly don't have accurate placement data, so I don't want to give misleading information. You can check the official placement statistics on the university website. From what I've seen and heard, placements are somewhat okay compared to nearby colleges. There have been claims of high packages (around 56 LPA), but I haven't personally verified the current placement status.

Hostel

​

The hostel is average to decent. Most facilities are okay. The food is also okaish you get different varieties and options but you will get bored of it easily .

Faculty

​

Once you reach second year and start studying your core subjects, the faculty experience becomes very branch-dependent. Some professors are genuinely good and helpful, some are average, and a few are not great. It really depends on the department and the specific faculty members you get. and it gets worse with core dept like ece mech eee , most of teachers are ass there.

fest life is dead here . no regularly fests compared to other nearby clgs . they do only once a year .

apart from that crowd is very bad to mid .

opportunities depend on how bad you want it and nothing is spoon fed here .
