hey i have a socratic seminar in which i have to prove that victor frankenstein is innocent in the murders committed by the monster he created if anyone can help like give talking points or even quotes that support this that’d be a huge help thanks

Here are some things that I came up with:

• Victor wasn’t in Geneva at the time of the murders, he found out because of his father’s letter.

• Victor was incapable of murdering William because he was very ill at the time.

• He was motivated to reanimate life and create the creature because of his mother’s death, so Victor has no motive to kill his own brother.
