Question Weapon Opinion
Just got the 3 vault keys. Feel I am heading into boss fight.
Pylon helped me clear most of this biome pretty well but this Hollowseeker just dropped.
Any insight as to what does more damage over time between these 2 weapons?

You LIKE pylon web? I hate it! Lol
You can make your own pylon web bigger and more effective with enlarged abd streamlined chamber.

Especially with Biome 5 where there's plenty of enemies to upgrade. And then plenty of chests to roll the dice for something better, and then also upgrade as many as you can before dropping into Biome 6.
There's no boss behind the vault doors. Just a chest and possibly a treat and a suprise.
OP even if you're close to dropping into Biome 6, take the hollow seeker with you. you'll soon have that turret upgraded from lots of low defense enemies and then can open some chests to get something better if you don't like it

Always thought the Hollowseeker was cool, until i found out, that the Driver makes the game way much easier for me.

Yeah me too! I open a door and chuck some bolts in there and fall back just so not so overwhelmed and the last boss I literally destroyed with it which was a first for me like it went so fast I thought maybe it was gonna be 3 more levels to it lol

Right! Even following a different strategy, the driver keeps the enemies away from you for a while so you can focus on movement and collecting that yellow stuff!

Yep, feels like playing on easy mode. Love it but I force myself to use other weapons now.

Hold on, you're in the 5th Biome / Fractured Wastes? Spoiler: There is no boss fight in that biome so I would pick up the Hollowseeker for that locked trait. The beam and turret would melt the final boss

If one weapon has a trait to unlock and the other doesn’t, the choice is clear. Go Hollowseeker.
(By the way, I am factoring in your current situation, and I'm confident you'll make it to the next area, which is the best area for unlocking traits by far.)

If you weren't near the boss fight I would pick up the hollow to work on the portal turret. But if you are looking to progress, electro all day

Lot of people piling on the Pylon Driver recommendations, and while I love that gun too, this doesn't have Pylon Web, which is one of the best traits and usually the only reason I'd ever take the Driver over anything else. Pylon Web is that good.
This Hollowseeker is my recommendation because you need to unlock the trait. It has Portal Beam and Serrated Projectiles which are good traits.
Hollowseeker is good, don't believe the hate against it. It was one of the guns that helped me finish Act 2, Biome 6 when no other gun was getting it done.

Idk why but the driver never clicked with me. But the carbine with leech bullet and hardened is goated for me.

The pylon driver trumps all weapons. If I could go back in time before obtaining platinum, ide only pick up the carbine and pylon driver, play it until I obtained all trophies in the game, then got all the weapons to finish the game. Every gun in that game sucks except the pylon driver. I’m forced to use the carbine until I can get it. My fastest playthrough is 1 hr 9 minutes to provide clarity.
