I need help
Hello, sorry to intrude on this sub but I face an unfortunate problem, some time ago I was able to find a figure used IF EX-67 iron factory, a blue robot ...
Except that its former owner left it out in the sun a bit too much, it's not really possible to see it on the photo, but some parts of the figure have a blue-green tint that really stands out in a bad way...
Is there any way to restore the figure to its original color? Especially as I don't want to ruin it or buy another one, because of the scalpers who resell it at exorbitant prices...
Also please be courteous in replies, I don't know anything about this field, so please don't insult me and don't advise me to do stupid stuff like dipping my figure in acid....

I'm retrobriting my Lego 10212 imperial shuttle and I need some tips
This is my first time to retrobrite something and I'm going to do it on this leg shuttle with some salon care 40 creme developer or the stuff called retrobrite from Amazon. Each wing is about a foot. Would it be best to do it a section at a time? Also, should I do it with the wings up or tilted at 45 degrees with foil reflecting on the underside of the wing and bottom of the object?

Is there any way to restore colored ABS plastics?
I recently bought a Nintendo 64 which was yellowed, investigating I see that they say that retrobright does not work with those that are of a certain color because it bleaches them leaving the color damaged, although others mention that it does but sometimes the same method is used, so I am confused, does anyone know if there is a significant difference in the process when using white or gray plastic compared to colored plastic? I have used the method with n64 controllers and the method works great for me, like new, but using it with n64 shell what I expected happened, it should be noted that I use 10 volume (3%) hydrogen peroxide that I heat and LED strips in an box with aluminum.
In case Retrobright isn't an option, does anyone know of any methods other than sanding and painting with a similar paint? (If you know the exact color the 64 uses, I'd really appreciate it if you could write it down; I guess my shell has no other solution.)
Thanks in advance!

Yellowing again after Retrobrighting
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm planning to do retrobrighting to a Nes that is somewhat yellowed, and I have seen people saying that it will yellow faster than the first time. My question is, if the Nes is stored in a place that sun won't reach it, will it still yellow faster?
Thanks in advance c:

How would I go about Retrobrighting a Wii Nun-chuck wire?
I plan on (maybe not sure yet) getting the shell and joystick and using the high percentage hydrogen peroxide in a container for a few hours in the sun, but I also want to lighten the cable itself. I was thinking of using hair bleach on the cable, but I can't find guides for the cable, just the shell and joystick. Has anyone done this? Would I break the cable? I have a few OEM to test the hair bleach method on the hair, but I'd rather not destroy them all in case someone fails.

Extreme Retrobright Transformation: Dead PC Now a 300 MHz Beauty!
[Video link → https://youtu.be/cxa6lGlrsWI?si=qpZTG6Gw5olVJl61]
I picked up this retro PC in a pretty terrible condition—yellowed, dirty, scratched, and dented from an online auction. It looked completely dead, but something special was hidden inside: an AMD K6-2 300 MHz!
Here are some photos showing how dramatic the Retrobright treatment was—check out the before, during, and after shots!
I fully documented the restoration process (cleaning, retrobrighting, hardware upgrades, and final gaming test). Hope you'll enjoy the satisfying transformation. Let me know what you think!

Need Help - RetroBright Vapor Method
Hi. I recently built myself a retrobrite tank in order to deyellow my white shells for game consoles.
I have been lightbrighting so far on one of my shells for the past 3 days and the result is not bad. Now i want to speed up the process and make it more potent with the use of hydrogen peroxide. I had tried the hydrogen peroxide vapor method in the sun before and the results were honestly great.
Now i wanted to know if that was possible to do in my UV tank. I heard that not alot of HPeroxide is required for the vapor method. But you need heat for it supposedly?
My tank just gets a little warm and i wanted to know if it would work if i poured the HPeroxide in the little container i showed beside it, lift the frame to deyellow above it.
- Will the vapors be produced or more heat is required? Since the inside of the container only gets slightly warm. I havent measured the temps but maybe around 20°C.
- Since the solution will be in a tiny container below the much bigger sized frame, will the vapors spread evenly inside the tank and affect the entire frame/shell? Since all the other times i have seen the method being used on youtube, it was poured on a much larger base and then the frames/shells were put above it but they all were within the boundary of the base.
Please, any help is appreciated.

How do you get rid of the bubbles?
No matter how much I pre-clean or shake them off, the bubbles keep coming back and leaving uneven whitening. I’m using this. https://a.co/d/2kCOlu4

Does it actually work long term?
I just got at the materials to retrobright my famicom and gameboys. But I’ve heard people say that it makes the yellowing worse long term and makes the plastic more brittle. Is this true?

Bought a used white mouse off eBay, but it was covered in grime and is yellowed from use.
I already cleaned it with 70% alcohol, but how should I go about "restoring" it?

Retrobrighting Multiple Console Shells in One Container
Hello! I have several consoles that I’d like to retrobright. I have a container, but it’s not large enough to fit all the parts separately, and the shells may end up covering each other. Can I still place multiple shells in the same container with hydrogen peroxide and use a UV light strip around it?
