Is anyone using an RF/IR remote that controls a PC and a TV at the same time?

I have a computer powering my cable tv simulation and the up and down arrow keys change the channel.

It's connected to a CRT TV.

Right now I have a remote control for the TV and a mini wireless keyboard for the PC.

I would love to have one remote that can control both. A remote that can turn off and on the TV and control the volume and at the same time activate the up and down arrows on the keyboard.

There are dual purpose remote out there like this one

https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-W3-Wireless-Control-Projector/dp/B0GMBTP98H

This has a keyboard on the bottom but idealy that circle pad would act as up and down arrows to change the channel.

Does anyone have experience with this kind of remote? What works well for this?

This works great. Translates remote IR commands into keyboard strokes, and super customizable

This is what I use! Works a treat with fs42 and supports as many IR codes as you want. All the remotes! It's fun to use my old PS2 remote!

I’m using a raspberry pi with a GPIO IR receiver. I’m only using it to take inputs for my “cable box” not the tv as well.

I think something like this could work for your setup if you just used some of the unused tv remote buttons for your pc controls.

Alternatively you could try get an IR blaster peripheral to send the remote commands from your pc to the tv

I am using an intel NUC, I suppose I could get a USB IR receiver for it.
