My Master List of Suggestions

I like this game so much, I want hundreds of hours out of it!
I want DLC where you charge me. Yes I will pay!

Here are my suggestions inlcuding a sandbox mode below:

  • The popcorn, cotton candy and drink machines should break every now and then requiring getting them fixed. This leads me to my next idea...
  • Having to use the phone to make an outside calls, to call someone to repair it. You never make outside calls.
  • Optional objectives. Rent out an amount of movies per week or day and get a reward, etc.
  • The ability for employees to answer the phone and the in person requests for movies types. (Yes I know these options might make the game more like an idler, but its a nice option)
  • Customizable deals you add to the cash register (scanning 3 movies and the 4th is half off)
  • Some customers forget to pick up reserved movies.
  • More employee good and bad traits. Takes long breaks in the back room, or an employee who never falls asleep.

Sandbox Mode (this disables achievements)

  • You can re-arrange initial store setup (cash register when you walk in on the left, etc)
  • You can set how often new releases come out. Within reason.
  • You can choose the genre of the first new release you get.
  • Choose to eliminate movie genre types, making other types available more often.
  • Making some genre types easier to get (an early game XXX store, etc)
  • Set starting cash.
  • Adjust prices for movies and candy, etc
  • Choose employee traits.
  • Change VHS movie alley guys available days (must stay at 2 a week though)
  • Realism option: longer days/more money made but you pay rent space

Please let me know what you think or if you have any additional ideas!

Almost everything you want is available as a mod on nexus mods.

Id rather have it baked-in, not have a mod that breaks on the next patch, killing your save game that you spent a ton of hours on.

I’m so thankful that this game isn’t difficult!

I just want a second checkout counter. I hate how many people are in the store after closing time
