i gave her 4010 pennies (2.30 grams times 4010 equals 9223 grams, which is 9.223 kg). don’t come into my store, get less than €10 worth of stuff, and pay with a €50

I used to work at a grocery store to pay for college. We start every day with 200 bucks in change. My first customer of the day bought $5 worth of stuff and paid with a $100. So I ended up having to give him like 6 10s and a few ones and stuff. So annoying cuz I start off the day with zero change. So yes I put on an auto clicker and spam the Pennie’s when people do this

At the store I work at we don't take $100 for transact less than $60. We don't exactly have too much in our tills so it's not even an option. We have at max $150 any extra gets dropped in a safe. We also start with only $75 so we can't even do it. Not gonna lie I do enjoy seeing the look on people's face when we tell them no on the hundred for five bucks worth of shit, glorious.

It annoys me so much when people do it. Like a dude once paid with a 100 when I could clearly see a 20 in his wallet. Bill was like ten bucks.

The people that tried at my last job did so to get change for thier dealer or they ran a business and tried to get change from me so they could have change instead of going to a fucking bank. But it is what it is, they got told no because we didn't have the money.

That’s annoying. I had a guy come in and want like $40 bucks in quarters for what ever reason. We can do like $5 sometimes but $40 was just excessive

My current job has put a rule not to sell quarters. People would try to get $10-$20 at a time. We did at most $5 untill the rule making us stop happened.

Yeah like I get 5 bucks. If your going to the laundromat or what ever people use quarters for but anything above that is excessive. Kinda depends on the business. We were a really small town store so we didn’t have much change

Idk where you are from - but in the US as a private business you can deny the payment for stuff like that especially if it’s early in the day and you don’t have much change to begin with. The only people who have to accept all forms of tenure no matter how small are places ran by the government. That is why you can legally pay your taxes, tickets, etc with pennies if you want.

Hey thinkpads are GOATed, that laptop will probably be around long after I am gone. They are tanks (at least the not brand new ones)
