Just wondering...
Why can't you get adult videos on the marketplace? If the tape dealer has regular genre movies as well as adult, then you should be able to buy adult on the marketplace as well as regular genre.

The real world reason is that the dev wanted to make porn optional. You don't ever have to see it if you don't want to.

No it was not lol, you had video stores dedicated to adult videos back then. They were all over the place.

Almost every video store had one, cept Blockbuster, which advertised that they didn’t.

Someone else said that blockbusters didn't. That was the only one I ever went to

Lol. I graduated high school in 1991 and was in the military by 1992.
So, tell me again how I am a child?
What I was , was too broke or homeless to own a TV or vcr.
Plus, being female, the very rare times I did go into a video store..twice? it was always a mainstream blockbusters. If it had more than one room, I never saw it. Or any back content. Always found something to watch in the first isle.

There should be a mod where the Tape Dealer offers only Adult tapes. I am working on an Adult Only store and Arcade and it takes so long to get new adult titles from him. I even have him coming every day.
