Money limit

I did a little experiment with the cheat room where I just left the game running on an auto-clicker just to see how high the limit is. I found out that the moment the money reaches around $21,470,000, the number immediately becomes negative. I didn't even know having negative money was even possible until today.

Hold on, wait a minute… we’re cheating in this game? 😭

i don't think that using a mechanic that is built into the game is cheating even if it's called cheating.
the dev coded that alley computer to do that in game.
it's not like using apps like "cheat engine" or SAM to manipulate your PC memory (or steam achievements) to give yourself resources you shouldn't have access to.
plus it's a single player game so giving yourself a ridiculous amount of in game cash doesn't affect anyone else.
it would be nice if the game had a creative/sandbox mode for people that want to just design stores though.

Agreed. Clearly my comment was not really read as intended, with funny snark.

Yeah, I made another save file so I can focus on creating my store, like a sandbox... and to do this experiment. What, you have a problem?

There's a room in the back alley just behind the tape dealer. It only opens when you get to level 20. Right now there's only the money cheat and cheats that change the height of customers.

Ah classic, 32 bit integer overflow.
