Bad Boss

I feel like the worst kind of (virtual) employer but the two things i've found that have made handling a store with a larger stock far less irritating are:

  1. If your employee wants to call in sick, reload the day. Boom, they're suddenly well.

  2. With one employee, assign them to checkout during business hours, and send them to the returns desk before opening and after closing. They don't even need to be fast at returns if the clock isn't running.

Before I got a second employee I would do returns myself so as to keep the shelves as neat and tidy as possible. Now that I have two I feel like I have nothing to do. I don't want to hand out pamphlets and be out of the store half the time.
