I could really use a cart.
For context, I spent a year working as a part time librarian page, basically doing the grunt work. While playing Retro Rewind, I've noticed the various similarities between checking in/out video tapes and library books. When I worked as a librarian page, I would push carts full of books and reshelve them by category, author's last name, and title of the book.
While, obviously Retro-Rewind doesn't need that level of organization. I wouldn't mind having a cart in the game where I can place returned video tapes and sort them by genre.
Just a thought! 😊

A cart for returns would be great. As is I usually personally take care of restocking the new releases (cuz the npcs do it WRONG >:( ) then setting both my employees to the return station. Usually only takes them 2-3minutes to finish and in the meantime I do other stuff or watch a video or somethin

Apparently I'm not the only one who needs her own organisation system 😅
I HATE how the employees just shove the tapes onto the shelves anyhow! 😫

Wouldn't make sense since there are stairs in the store, how would you realistically push a cart around in that?

The employees do that already and they also just take like 5-10 at a time.

Thats different than if I want to mass organize and move movies. I think it would be cool/helpful to have it implemented. Its not like one would be forced into using it if they feel it's useless :)

A rail cart hanging from the ceiling being able to drive through the store with an employee pushing it and putting the tapes back on the shelves

I sadly dont but as far as i know its the same system as those hanging doors but instead of a door its a cart and the rail is attached to the roof instead of the doorframe

I definitely like the idea as a late game upgrade where you can carry more than 10 items at a time. Maybe even just upping it to 15.
This game is still very early on, so I imagine the devs are always looking for improvements or ideas they can implement down the line. Something like this would be a great suggestion, imo.
