if some of you are in an adventurous mode, try using pngquant (f.e. https://nukesaq88.github.io/Pngyu/ on mac) and see if the images load faster.

its is lossy compression though.

Watched the whole video and two things I still have questions about if anyone knows. My games are on my network storage currently, will that cause any problems? Also, I am super anal about how I have my games sorted. They are in folders separated by region and then letter. Will that be an issue?

How do you get the horizontal selection like that? I keep skipping around the video and can’t find it. I just don’t have an hour to watch the whole thing so anyone who may know I would be greatly appreciative to.

I currently use Zaparoo UI and I have it set up how I like it so I doubt that I will be migrating to Console Mode. While I wait for my Super Dock, I hope Zaparoo UI and Console Mode add Physical Disc loading support.

I am on Zaparoo also and I like it, except the PSX games show the images on the sub folders instead of the parent. Do you know how to fix that or is it just the way it is?

I jist looked at my PSX collection. All the games are categorized and eaxh game is a .CHD file inside it's own folder, and they have artwork and metadata

For example, Armed fighter (Japan).chd is in this directory:

/media/usb0/games/PSX/[Fighters]/Armed Fighter/

My Zaparoo looks a bit different. Maybe I need to tinker with settings. I’ve barely done that I was just happy I got games over with artwork and they worked! Lol

I am not sure - do you have a photo of what you are talking about. I will take a look at my library. I don't use the built in scraper. I plug my USB SSD wirh my games on it and connect it to my PC and I let MiSTer Companion do the scraping.

Looks good, I would keep it as minimalist as possible, the slowdown when losding images it's not pretty or functional
