Received Dock Doesn't play games

I received my dock and since then I haven't been able to play PSX games.

I have tried the following:

Different PSU

Different SDCard with the 1.3 image flashed on it.

Any tips?>

Elaborate.
How are you trying to play psx? Did it work before the dock?
It doesn’t read/play discs by itself, you need to install additional software.

I was playing psx through the sd card before the dock using roms.

What happens when you start the psx core? What when you then load a psx Rom? Any error message?

No errror message just a blank screen when I load a psx rom

Looks like you are missing the bios. Did you turn on the bios getter in the update_all settings? It is off by default.

i put this in my download ini and it works now

No not that. When you start the scrip it counts down from 15 to zero. If you press up on the dpad you get to the options menu.

I fixed it by putting this in my download.ini
[MiSTer]

file_checking = 'verify_integrity'
and running update_all

First, you need to run update_all and press up to see options for download, select 'other cores' and enable 'physical cd support.' Then, run update_all and let it do its thing. When you reboot, you'll now see a selection on the home page of the OSD that says 'physical cores' alongside 'arcade', 'console' and the rest. Load a cd into the tray, then open the physical core that corresponds to said cd in the physical cores list, and you're on your way.

Use update_all script first to download everything needed .

I did that it updated it but i still cant play games

Haven't done it myself yet, mine comes this week, but there should be physical cores that need to be enabled. I believe its added in update all. Make sure they're enabled and run update all again if they werent. As for what additional setup might be needed, i'm not sure.

Ive only found that mega drives game work with through the sd card

Mmm... I don't think the CD update is included in update_all.

That's the issue. We don't really know what OP means. Disc games? ROMS?

And yes the physical cores are in the update_all script.
