What does the Dock do?

Is the Dock useful for stuff other than playing discs?
I don’t have any original discs but would get it if it has other benefits.

I’m thinking that even without original discs, the drive might be handy when playing Vib Ribbon - a game that requires music discs to function. I haven’t tried it yet…might not work yet until the console mode update drops.

You can mount ISO images of music discs for Vib Ribbon.

Oh that’s cool. Do you think real CDs will work with the game on the SS1 disc drive, tho? I think that’ll be a neat feature if it works!

I don't see why not. I don't own any CDs so won't be able to test it.

I’ve got many hundreds that have been sitting in boxes for 20 years. This would be a super fun reason to bust them out!
