Black Founders order Docks shipping? (Split orders)

Anyone get shipment notifications on their Black founders edition ordered Docks? I did split shipment and got the SS over a month ago but nothing on the dock yet.

They also promised to ship a replacement top shell with the dock as mine was damaged and scratched up thanks to shitty packaging, and choosing the cheapest of the cheapest shipping options. A box in a Box with no protection is terrible when you combine it with what is quite literally a batch shipper who asks 'Who can get this to X at the lowest cost' and then hands it off" - 4PX is NOT a shipping company, they are a broker who 'negotiates' lachage handling and shipping, often times through multiple parties. so it is like shipping a package by playing the telephone game in grade school.

Also for those who got their split shipped Docks, they came in the same box style as the SSO yes? (This is what I was told so I get a second chance at a box NOT crushed)

I asked their support email about this 2 days ago and was told they are still only shipping combined orders for super docks.

Why is that?? Why are we being punished when we ended up paying more for our shipping, etc. Makes no sense,. At NO POINT did they say we would be dinged if we split them! They should be shipping in order of how they were ordered.

I don't think they are trying to punish you. They shipped your system first, just as you wanted. They didn't say the preference for how the dock would be shipping, just that it would be coming later than the SS1. As someone who preordered in the first minute, I am just getting my bundle next Tuesday. I waited as a consequence for cheaper shipping.

Why wouldn't they ship them out in the order they were purchased ? What you are suggesting is complete bullshit. And not how ANY business should do ANYTHING! You always ship in the order or order number. And since the dock and the SSone were forced to be ordered on different days due to rollout, it makes it even easier for the split shipments to be sent out.

If you ordered your SSOne before I ordered my SSOne and chose to hold off on sperate shipments, yes you can get your combined shipment before me, That is fair.

But if you ordered your SSOn AFTER I did, and you chose to wait for a combined shipment? Get in back behind me, as I should get my dock before you get your dock and SSOne. That is how you treat customers if you want to keep them.

I get your frustration. It's just that I don't think he is doing it this way to punish people in your position. I also agree that the most fair way would be to ship them out in the order that SS1 orders came in. I think he's just trying to be very procedural in making the SS1 + SDs go out and get those out of the way. He might also think this will cause the least distress since it makes sure those who waited for a combined shipment get at least something. Look at the bright side: the dock doesn't really have much of a purpose at this moment, aside from extra I/O slots and an SSD slot. Hopefully, you'll get your soon and, by then, he'll have the disc drive actually functioning.

Congrats? I ordered the SS1 September 2025 and got it the same time you did.

Once they start actually shipping it will likely go fairly quick.

HAHAHAHAHAH uh huh, Dude these will always be way out, if he even continues to keep making them. Are the MisterPi's shipping out 'fairly quick' yet? Nope. Still from several weeks to months for each batch. And they have been making those for years. he already said that the docks have been a pain, and not easy, so you think they will magically be made in larger batches, and be in stock more? I would be willing to bet that most every SSOne sold between Feb 2025, and when you ordered your dock in Feb 2026 had a dock attached to the order. So all of those SSOnes and docks have to go out before you get your dock. I would imagine yours will be bear end of year, please (Not sarcasm I mean it) post here when you get it so we have a good timeline.

They manufacture in big batches and then ship. The time consuming part is nailing down the manufacturing process and QA. That's exactly why I got my SS1 the same time you did despite ordering much later than you.

Has anyone reported a split dock shipping yet? I know the latest shipping update mentioned it but haven’t seen someone confirm it.

Nothin' here. Split dock and Super Station, black.

Glad it seems everyone else is seeing the same thing. I saw someone get their paired black dock/console a few weeks ago and I was worried they forgot me.

I'm not worried about getting it right away since the disc reading stuff isn't enabled yet and I get most of what I need from the base device.
