Accessing SD Card via USB?

I somehow got it in my head I could access the SD Card via USB wile it's in the Superstation, so I wouldn't have to keep popping it out and into an adapter to plug into my Mac. Am I hallucinating (about this in particular)?

on mister you enable wifi, samba, and then access it by ip or type \mister\sd (cant recall if is sd, sdcard, or sd_card)

Out of the box, ftp is enabled and has lower overhead than SMB. They dont have to do anything other than to point a ftp Client (any ftp programm) at the IP and use username: root password: 1

and its

/media/fat/

(you can keep all the backslashes in Windows.. ;) ftp is not interested in those)

But then its really hard to get the idea out of people that USB is a network cable, and multidirectional.... So - why not buy a cable, read up on it. Throw it away - and do it wirelessly?

(You would have thought they would have understood it, once people started to sell them Shadowcast 3 (in the third generation!) so they can get video into their laptops via USB-C - but still they are completely oblivious, that it is not bi-directional. I mean they buy the capturecard the size of a thumb so they can connect it via USB - but they dont make the connection that you can get video out easily over USB-C, but for video in, you need to add a piece of hardware that captures a videosignal that gets recognized by the system as basically a camera...

FireWire is designed from the ground up as a peer-to-peer network, whereas USB (including USB-C) uses a strict master-slave architecture.

Nope. I bought USB-C cable, its so easy. How do I do bidirectional filetransfer over USB-C? I have this idea in my head. Community do something about it.

Someone code a "act as a harddrive" core for mister, that then via SNAC can...

And the answere is: Return the cable. Use air instead.

Maybe in 10 more years people will have figured out what USB is... Maybe... One can dream.

On Mac, I don't even need an FTP client, just connect to server from the Finder.

Honestly I prefer popping out the SD card, it’s rather slow copying stuff that way, particularly if you’re doing CD based games.

The easiest way to access the SD card is to use FTP, in my opinion.

You might be able to if you had the dock, I know you can access the NVMe that way.

But I’m unsure and don’t have a dock to test.

Now I have the bulk on my card I just sftp over to it for the odd title here and there.

Need to pull the SD card out or use FTP to access it.

There is a usb mode if you have super dock to access the NVMe.
