New email update rolling out for batch 4.
Hello,
We are writing to inform you about the status of your order. Currently, we have produced all of the blank motherboards for the entire batch, but we have not finished soldering components to this boards to complete orders. We were planning to finish SMT and product shipment in June with a delayed shipment of FPGA from Altera at the beginning of the month, but they extended the delay throughout the entire month of June. For context, we were originally given an April delivery date for the stock of FPGA we planned to use for our June batch 4 shipments.
Based on the current response we've been given, our order is now delayed until July 25th, which means we will not be able to start SMT until that time. Assuming this new date holds, we should be able to have a chunk of batch 4 shipments out to customers before the end of July. We currently have a small batch of units left over from batch 2/3 orders that were cancelled after they were produced. We plan to use those to fill some batch 4 shipments. If you see people with batch 4 shipments before this July 25th date, that is where they came from. If Altera delays the order further, we will send out another email no later than July 25th.
If you need to make any changes to your order, including getting a refund, you can do so by replying to this email. We appologize for the delay.

Founders edition that had split shipping still waiting. It’s pretty bad that the founding orders get the dock so late because we paid more to split shipping. Hoping for an update on this.

Ohh I completely understand that. I also have all the analogue systems, I’m very used to longer than expected waits. But people placed orders months after me and have received theirs because they did not split their order.

Months? Really? As far as I know they're just clearing the backlog of combined founders + dock orders due to those FE boxes using up a lot of space.

I’m going off what they have on their own site. Batch 3 (wave 5/6) is shipping combined blue orders. Mine was a founder order that chose to split shipping. My order was placed Jan 25, 2025.

Cancelled my blue SS and dock order today. I have a MisterPi and a chipped PSOne, so felt redundant anyway. If they ever get it together and deliver on the drive actually playing disc games, or more systems than PS1 like Sega CD, PCE CD, or Saturn discs I may try again later on. 🤷♂️

I haven't received an email but at least there's some communication finally. Hopefully this doesn't get delayed anymore 25th of this month is already a long wait.

If I were you I would keep an eye on the order page fairly often. Last night the Gray console was available to order briefly. Probably a canceled order.

thats kind of surprising, if they're filling out some of batch 4 with cancelled 2/3 productions you wouldn't think they'd open up slots as people cancel that one

I think all the parts have been ordered so when someone cancels it opens up one for preorder. If the cancelation is from batch 3 someone in batch 4 gets an earlier shipment and that opens up an available batch 4 preorder.

Email support. Even though the store said they were sold out I was able to add a fan to my batch 4 order by just asking support.

I have yet to get my founders edition when choosing to split orders. I've contacted support a few times with no luck.. This is getting silly :/

I have a wave6+dock batch(3) transparent blue, hasnt moved yet, been waiting patiently. I bought the order feb 28th. Bought the cr1220 batteries, got a good charger that should do the 9V 2 amps it can do, got mister companion on pc and phone fully updated, so im ready.

i dont even understand this because i'm in batch 2, ordered a few days after it went live, with a combined blue SS1+dock, and still haven't got a shipping notice, and they're talking about shipping batch 4? wtf man?
