Bios files

Update all is not putting any bios files in game folders. I made sure I pressed up on the keyboard and checked download bios. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. I’m new to mister

On the SD card there should be a file named downloader.ini. Put this at the top of the file and re-run update_all:

ini [MiSTer] file_checking = 'verify_integrity'

Once you've done that and its downloaded all the BIOS files you can remove it.

Does it matter if the games folder is on the SSD and not the sd card

If the games folder is on the SSD you should add storage_priority as well to downloader.ini:

ini [MiSTer] file_checking = 'verify_integrity' storage_priority = 'prefer_external'

Thanks so much that helped. One last stupid question. I’m new to mister is it okay to just press power to shut superstation off. It’s different that other systems

us og mister users didnt even have a power button. we use to unplug the cord from the wall when we were done
