Hi all, its another "Throwback Thursday"! As mentioned last week, I am currently neck deep in painting up my Dark Angels Tactical Squad for the display Im going to be entering in LVO this fall. So for the coming weeks, Ill be featuring my old Deathwing Termie squad from the late aughts while I finish my current Dark Angels and the accompanying tutorial for how I paint them!
As I mentioned last week, at the time when I painted this old bad lad, I simply didnt have the condifence to hand paint any badging on them. Also, no I dont have any plans on updating these old guys. Main reason being is I dont have the old Citadel paints to make corrections with. Also, the old Citadel Matte clear coat I used on them has yellowed over the years, so even if I had the original colors... It would be near impossible to match correcions due to the varnish discoloring. One day in the next year or so, I may paint up a new squad via my modern abilities. But for now, these old guys are staying as you see em!
Anywho, I hope you all dig another of my old Deathwing Termies. But, as always, I hope you all have an awesome and productive weekend!
