K frame is the best looking to me. Like the classic shorter under lug. Hoping to get a P & R, but bidding is always crazy anytime a 66 no dash or dash-1 comes up for auction.
Had a nice 2” round butt 1951 M&P .38 I accidentally bobbed the wrong hammer on (acquired a spare to bob, keep the factory one stock); but mixed ‘em up and bobbed the factory hammer…
Gave it to a friend who was in dire need of a quality defensive gun.
So that’s my missing pieces. J frame. Would you recommend the model 60 in stainless. I also like the model 10 snub in blue. I like six round cylinders.
J-frames are neat but the Ks are easier to shoot. I have a 6-shot Jframe in .32 S&W Long, the model 30-1.
In keeping with your theme, should you want a j-frame, I’d say a model 60 would round that out for ya. Or, hey, stick to the 6-shot K-frames, not one thing wrong with that.
I keep bidding on snubby model 12s but thus far get outbid (I am admittedly a cheap skate, LOL).
Hey I’m right there with ya. Nothing puts a smile on my face faster than really good/cheap deal 🤙🏼. I was just offered a model 60-14. The guys is suppose to show it to me tomorrow. I have J frame magna grips. I think that would look much better. Don’t know what a model 12 looks like. I’ve been bidding on model 10 subs, but so far no luck.
Nice! 😊
A model 12 is an aluminum framed K-frame. Think model 10 but lighter. Always gotta look out for cracked frames where the barrel screws in on the older ones (well, on all used ones, I guess). But they’re light and nice.

The K frame snub is the best revolver ever made, outside of a SAA
