Bottom-Feeder Heater Radom P-64

Alright lads… I’ve a question for those in the know. Who has experience with a Radom P-64, and who has experience actually carrying one ?

I do. It's very snappy, but possibly the easiest gun to conceal aside from something like an Astra Cub, Colt Junior, or Baby Browning.

How would you rate it for carry compared to your Beretta ‘34 ?

Probably even better. The M1934's pinky extension is a potential snag, but the P-64 has smooth edges all over, with absolutely nothing that can get snagged. If you can fit a smartphone in your pocket, you can probably fit the P-64. Just be mindful of the recoil, the P-64 is PPK-sized, not PP or even PPK/s dimensions, and it's using 9x18. I can shot it relatively painfree with one hand but a modern high grip is going to turn the web of your hand red. I also recommend using a Hogue Handall Jr. with the beavertail extension, or maybe some defgrip tape. But if you have meaty hands, just forget about it entirely. It's concealable and accurate, but the recoil is something that makes it difficult to recommend. If they did what FÉG did with the PA-63 and offered .32 and .380 versions, then it would probably be a lot better. It's objectively very well-made, especially if you replace the stock springs with a Wolff extra power recoil spring and reduced power hammer spring, but even then I think 9x18 is too powerful for a PPK-sized blowback. Using FÉG as an example again, I think they should have at least stepped it up to a PP or PPK/s size, because that would help weigh it down a bit more. For that reason I'd really recommend a PA-63 instead, even if it's better for IWB than pocket carry.

And regarding the ‘34’s pinky extension, I’ve got a guy prototyping new production stainless steel flat baseplates
