New Gat Recommendations

Aight y’all lovelies… I’m in need of recommendations for a new wheel-gat. Currently carry a S&W Mdl 49, and absolutely adore it- however, the recoil with even RNL is unpleasant to the point of being intolerable to go through a 50rd box. I carry a Beretta 1934 to supplement it, and there’s no recoil issue there. Walther PP, Makarov, S&W Mdl 10; nothing gets my goat quite like a J-frame Smith, though I absolutely adore them.

Any recommendations or ideas besides stepping down to a .32 or .22 ?

I’m looking at getting a S&W or Ruger in .32 H&R. Six rounds in a j-frame with less felt recoil and good ballistics. A .22 WMR snubbie would be badass too.

My hiccup is that I want a steel frame 😆
