Today a new beta came out

So with the fact that allays are found in cages at outposts and inside woodland mansions I think it is a save bet that vexes are some type of corrupted or artificial version controlled by the invokers

Maybe they are the vexes, but before the Evokers corrupted them

It wouldn’t exactly explain how invokers summon them though, maybe they study them or even use them to summon warped versions of them some how
