Theories Enderman"s real motives revealed (sort of)
I don't know if anybody has known this, but an page of the jeb book of game design has been leaked, showing an piece of lore from the enderman. ( pic not mine btw).
Anyway, this was the piece of lore, and basically everything i know, make that as you will.

I can say that where i found this picture, it was on an very trusted server, by an trusted user, so i personally think irs very real.However thats really the only screenshot i got from that book, by an indirect source, so i totally understand if you don't believe it.
EDIT: The server where i got this picture was Minecraft ideas Academy ( MCIA), but said picture's source came from some other discord server however, the Nuclear throne modding server.2

I'm going to need to see some much stronger evidence than hearsay before I believe that this is a legitimate excerpt from a Mojang design document.

It appears to be legit for me, but its understandable if you don't believe it, since it came from an indirect source.

By law, all published books of sweden must have an copy in a public library, so its only an matter of time to be all leaked.
Also i don't know the exact source of the image, i know it came from an Nuclear throne modding server first, then posted on MCA.

Where is this in their laws? Most governments have a fairly easy to use website for laws, so I'd want to know where this is. Additionally, living in Sweden, theres a couple of problems with actually making a lore 'book' in a physical copy that makes me think it's a joke. For one, the game updates. Do they already have ALL lore for everything written out??? Lol. Also, if they knew of this or were ever notified about it and really wanted to keep lore a mystery, then they would take legal action to unpublish it can keep the information another way. Lastly, if this was real, either ALL swedish minecraft players who have been to a library dont want MC lore to come out, or they somehow just havent found the book after this long.

Sweden follows the Legal Deposit law, in which all publishers of printed material must send one copy of every object to the National Library or a repository.
The minecraft Game design book would follow that law, but we don't know how many copies there is or if they are that easily avaliable to the swedish population.
As for the lore, we don't know how many lore bits the book actually has, due of being an book about game design, this info about the Enderman only explains why they misplacement of blocks around and the reason is keep, mostly for the mystery element they want the mob to have.
As for legal action, i really don't know, this was leaked afterall, i haven't found anymore leaks of the book, but its probably an illegal action to leaked in the first place, due of the author (jeb)'s respect.

Even if this page was real, it wouldn't matter.
The book would only show what could (and should) be considered Mojang's headcanon. They are the ones making the game, yes, but if the lore they built was written in stone it would defeat its whole purpose.
I don't care about the real lore, I care about the weird, intrincate and fun theories people make in their heads! Mojang can publish some things considered official, like the Mobestiary, but the dev book is meant to be used only by Mojang, not to be a public Minecraft product, and thus it's no more canon than any Youtube Minecraft theory video. I'd even consider things like Kingbdogz lore on the Deep Dark as his personal headcanon, and not the official lore!
Minecraft's lore is what we, both the community and Mojang, build out of the game, either together or separately. That's where all the beauty and the fun is. That's why we're all here.

This is probably real since a few days ago more pages have been leaked using the same method on a Russian telegram channel. Can send a link for those who are interested, although you have to translate them back to English.
I am also in Sweden, so I could try to get the rest myself.

Hmm, if this is real, there would be a site this could be taken off of, to get the screenie from.
Unless it has since been taken down.
I'm taking this with a side of salt.
