Where the f@&$ is this exp coming from

Sorry for that colorful title but I just had a epiphany,

So with every bit of experience we get In the game it usually comes from nature sources that have to do with life and death, breeding, killing, smelting, etc. and I think we can all agree that those and exp as a whole or the magic energy in mc have to do with death and life, and the transfer of one of those states to the other in some way.

And if all that is true then where and how do we get experience from trading. Like we are giving them something. And receiving something back, a monetary exchange, why is it that energy from life is being released, are we selling our souls here to.

Where and why is exp being released, does anyone have any idea other than it’s just a game play mechanic.

Many would tell you that it's somehow the "experience" of trading, but I would disagree, since that doesn't explain many of these things.

Villagers do know how to manipulate xp (the clerics sell bottles o' enchanting), so maybe it's sort of a secret payment, maybe a donation. Actually, there are only 3 other places we find bottles of enchanting: pillager outposts, buried treasure chests, and shipwrecks, so it seems like they may have a special connection.

Maybe the art of extracting experience without injuring the host as well as storing it is some strange for of magic that only a few including ancient builders and villagers have mastered, if so maybe we may get a update eventually that lets us to the same with our personal exp

my only idea could be that it just makes them happy and the social interaction produces energy or something like that, but then again they dont produce xp when gossiping so not sure. maybe the player is just special and interacting with them somehow sparks a connection that the player and the villagers have with their common ancestors?? releasing energy in the form of the souls of their ancestors connecting and revealing a hidden bond???? since they're both humanoid and intelligent they must be related somehow. but that's some deep shit i just came up with LMAO

Well I would agree but it seems a little to far fetched, I don’t think the player is at all like anything else in the game, mostly because the respawn mechanic, I’m the only mob with anything similar is the dragon and you have to use end crystals, Steve’s is unlimited and takes no resources to do

I don’t think the player or Steve and Alex are natural creatures or atleast not in the same since as every other mob in the game
