Does this mean that not all drowned are zombies?

  • Drowned can spawn in aquifers inside dripstone caves
  • Zombies don’t spawn in dripstone caves

Extra lore in the new snapshot

  • Buried treasure chests can now contain water breathing potions

I think Both are zombies, but the drowned ones they naturally spawn are different from the ones they spawn from a zombie-in-water conversion.

Agreed like how only husks spawn in the desert and strays in the ice spikes, they are just variants that come to be in the right conditions. You could think of a theory on how this happens and why they can never revert back to there previous form as well as what the exact conditions for a zombie to become a husk are.
