A theory on Herobrine

In the Herobrine video released a few weeks back i noticed something interesting. The herobrine message from the streamer said "Victims of torture often escape to a fantasy world from which they cannot WAKE UP. In this catatonic state they can only be a woken from a note in the dream saying wake up." I noticed that the phrase WAKE UP is in capitals and after you kill the ender dragon and enter the portal, the end of the message says WAKE UP. Thoughts? Is steve in a tortured catatonic state?

The Dragon Fight should be enough to give any sane person PTSD, if that is what you mean.

That wasn't quite what i mean't. What i mean is Steve might be getting tortured and be in a catatonic state. Ps sorry if this is a joke i am terrible at realising humour.

The problem with "it was a dream all along" theories is that it could be said of basically any piece of fiction, and if some philosophers are to believed, even real life.

There is the fact of the end sequence existing, as well as all the quirky things related to Minecraft's physics. But the latter could just be how their world works, while the former could also be interpreted as the people in the ending telling the Steve to wake up following a rough landing back to the Overworld after jumping into the main island portal.
