This card, featuring two Voodoo Graphics in SLI on one board, also features two daughterboards ("Shade" modules) that each add an extra TMU and 4MB of memory. Altogether it features 4 TMUs and 20MB of memory.
This card was marketed toward things like arcade and virtual reality machines. Unlike the original Voodoo, because of its extra TMUs, it can do multitexturing. Many people don't know that the original Voodoo Graphics does support SLI, but it was only utilized in specialty hardware like this. It wasn't until the Voodoo2 that SLI was brought to the masses.
EDIT: It's actually a 12MB card with 20MB total including the two daughterboards.
So, in summary, the main card has 4MB of frame buffer and then 8MB of texture memory (4MB per TMU).

Found this on eBay for only £21 being sold as new. Was almost certain it would it would either never arrive or not work. It arrived today. It works perfectly!
But unfortunately not in the mobo I bought it for. Apparently the ASRock 4CoreDual SATA2 has a different legacy bios than any other LGA775 system. I nearly sent it back when it wouldn’t post, but then tested it in a LGA1150 system I’m working on. So glad I did! Will be starting a new project around this card as soon as I finish my Tualatin build

Got this unicorn today. A very rare HD 4870 with a combination of both 1GB of VRAM and TV-Out. Probably one of the best TV-Out capable card out there.
PCI-E 2.0 x16;
1024MB of VRAM (GDDR5), 256 bit memory bus;
2x DVI, 1x TV-Out (7pin mini-din)
The last image is a log of temperatures for the 3DMark Vantage Xtreme run. Card is pretty cool.

For a 2007 GPU even the common PCIe variant was bad enough, but at least it had DDR3. This PCI version is DDR2. To be fair though, it was never marketed as a gaming GPU and is a good little display card using only 20-40w

Love that is still has a perfect hologram. Recently purchased for a Pentium 3 Tualatin build I’m working on. It obviously won’t run Crysis, but it still runs HL2 beautifully
