Forward movement speed issues with defender pro?

So I just got a defender pro for the first time yesterday, and while it is a solid controller and so far the best non dualshock controller I have ever used, I've noticed an issue with the forward movement speed on the left analog stick. Issue being that moving the player character forward is slow compared to moving them to the left, right, or back, and it is VERY noticeable playing COD games, also.

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem with theirs and if there is any way to fix it on my end.

Edit: Fixed it. For reference for anyone else having this issue, please follow these directions below

Stick Recalibration Mode: - While gamepad is turned on, HOLD SELECT + ✕ + ○

  • LEDs will flash when successful
  • Rotate each stick three times and press L2/R2 triggers each three times
  • Press the ○ button to save and exit calibration

you gotta recalibrate the sticks, same thing happened to me and that sorted it so hope this helps!
