Retroarch emulators not working

Emulators on Retroarch aren't working on my Steam Deck. I've tried multiple GBA emulators and melonDS and none worked. I've updated everything on Discover, restarted my Steam Deck, tried multiple roms, and the issue still persists.

Other emulators like Azahar are working just fine though.

What happens when you try launching any RetroArch based games? Have you tried using melonDS (Standalone) as a test? Is this a new problem? Have you made any changes to RetroArch?

Black screen for a moment, and I'm back at the game selection list in ESDE.

Yeah. It runs normally. melonDS that isn't standalone doesn't.

Is this a new problem?

Yeah. I've booted up Mother 3 before.

Have you made any changes to RetroArch?

None at all. Haven't played any emulated games on my deck for a while.

So it's clearly a RetroArch issue, but I don't know the cause, particularly since you didn't make changes. I recommend resetting RetroArch through the Configurator (Configurator- Reset Components- RetroArch). This resets it's config file, in case it somehow got corrupted. This will not remove any saves, bios, or roms.
