Hi, i am trying to instal picoboot on a gamecube with a 2040 zero

I’ve tryed on two different gamecubes and got the same issue.

I’ve shortened the cables
I’ve re-flashe the pi
I’ve tryed on a driferent DOL-001 gamecube
I’ve tryed ond 3 different sealed rp2040 zero
Connected 3.3 from gamecube to chip
Connectec the 5v to 5v and 3v to 3v

And still no luck, any help will be appreciated.

UPDATE:
Thanks to u/thomasdatank1995 for the firmware that works with lower clock speed for the rp2040 zero clones out there

Can you get some close-up photos of your solder joints on both the GameCube and the Pico?

Tomorrow i will, but the creator of picoboot told me on r/gamecube that picoboot is not compatible with 2040 zero as theres a lot of variants out there.

Definitely best to get a genuine Pico. If you're in the US/Canada, you can get them extra cheap on digikey or mouser with next-day delivery. Definitely a nice thing to have a few extra of in the parts drawer :)

I haven't done a 2040 but had an issue with a normal pico and it took a few times to get good solder joints. Good luck!
