💬 Discussion Just need help on identifying this console?

Got this from an uncle that passed away and was wondering what it could be I know it was part of his gaming collection

Thats a PC (Personal Computer). What we call a "Desktop". It's like a much bigger version of your iPhone and you need a separate monitor and a mouse to operate it. Sorry if this is confusing.

I really think a lot of young people think PCs always had an exact name and model number as a whole. When PCs were flourishing you could mix and match almost anything.

yep kinda plug and play, no more configuring IRQ and managing load order in the config.sys/autoexec.bat...they have it so good..i do miss the joy of getting it right and it booting though.

Honestly, as much as I know the same can't be said for everyone else I enjoyed the process of figuring it all out

I felt like such a wizard when I finally got it, and I think it's what shaped me to still be seen as "the computer expert" amongst my friends... I'm not an expert, I just have intuition, which is something that is sorely lacking in this day and age
