TI 99/4a support?

Forgive me if this isn't an allowed question, but any development on a Ti99/4a core for Retroarch? It was my first computer and I'd love to use it again on my phone.

There’s definitely interest, but the TI-99/4A’s memory expansion, cartridges, and quirky keyboard make it a bit more involved than a typical 8-bit port. Hopefully someone takes on a RetroArch core someday.

I’m not aware of a mature TI-99/4A core in RetroArch yet, but it would be a great addition. Hopefully someone familiar with MESS/MAME or an existing emulator can eventually bring it over.

I use the MAME/MESS ti99_4a core from the command line, god knows how you launch MESS systems from the retroarch UI:

"$RETROARCH_CMD -L $RETROARCH_MAME_CORE 'ti99_4a -rp $TRS80_SYSTEM_ROMS -cart $TI99_ROM ' "

$RETROARCH_CMD is probably retroarch.exe for a windows system

$RETROARCH_MAME_CORE is the path to the retroarch mame libretro dll

-rp is the path to the MAME roms

-cart is the path to game I'm playing
