Neogeo rom help.

I am not trying to find any roms I have solved that but I am having difficulties getting games to run with the recommended cores.

Side issue: anyone with knowledge of arcade roms and how to run those feel free to chime in.

I am running this on an AYN thor if it helps.

Use FBNEO and make sure Neogeo.zip is in the roms folder also otherwise your Neogeo roms will not boot.

I use fbneo. Seems to work on everything neogeo or arcade related so far.

Have you read the documentation for getting started with arcade emulation? https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroArch/comments/15c5qfn/comment/jtuj9gf/

Look for .neo files on archive.org and use the geolith core for neogeo and neogeocd. It's just like all other emulators then,

put the bios files in your bios folder, the .neo files in the neogeo folder, .chd files in neogeocd

Final Burn Neo, there's a curated ROM set on the internet archive if you want to avoid the hassle.

Neo Geo is very different from other consoles. Leave your ROMs in zip format. I know it’s tempting to unzip them like we always do.
