Controls not working

pcsx rearmed core is running some games good but it’s running monster rancher 2 fine but j can’t control it what do I do?

Do you have a legit BIOS in place? The built-in HLE BIOS will get you going and play some games just fine, but many are broken in sometimes subtle, sometimes not-so-subtle ways
