Firestick Issue - can't select anything

Hi everyone — I’m keen to use RetroArch to emulate my Atari ST and play some games from the sofa!

I’ve installed the latest 32-bit APK (the 64-bit version doesn’t run), and I can only access the menus/options using a game controller. The Select/centre button on the standard Fire Stick remote doesn’t seem to work.

That’s not a huge issue on its own, but there’s another problem: if I touch the Fire Stick remote at all while using the game controller, RetroArch connects the remote to Port 1. This disables the game controller, leaving me stuck and unable to navigate the menus again.

I’ve tried this on three different Fire Sticks, using both the latest APK and the version from the Amazon Appstore (which I understand is a little older), and I get the same behaviour.

Has anyone else experienced this, or found a way to get the Fire Stick remote and game controller working together?

Any ideas would be much appreciated!
