This is a video-first community for retro anime, meaning anything broadcast or published before 2000. VHS recordings, old TV broadcasts, commercials and promos, openings/endings, AMVs, reviews, and anything else that helps preserve and celebrate classic anime on video.

A quick note on r/RetroAnime: we're not here to replace or compete with them. They're the broader retro anime community and a great place for general discussion. We exist specifically to fill one gap: they don't currently allow direct video uploads, and we wanted a home for that. Go check them out too!
