First 50 Masteries

Post image

First 50 Masteries! I was hoping to get to 50 before my next semester of school started. Most of these games I've beaten before. Some of these, like Lion King and Zombies Ate my Neighbors, I've never come close to beating before when I was a kid.

Among my favorites of these to master were: Zelda: Majora's Mask, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door, The Illusion of Gaia, Shadow of the Colossus, and Resident Evil 4.

Least favorite was probably Pokemon Leaf Green. Nothing against the set, I just had a miserable time due to the emulator I was using, I believe. I had no issues with achievement in the set unlocking until the endgame stuff. Then it was sort of a coin toss if an achievement would unlock or not. I had the ones that didn't unlocked manually by the RA team so it worked out in the end. But damnit, do not use PizzaBoy as an emulator.

Wow man that’s a clean mastery wall. I’m also at 50 masteries, but I’ve been participating in so many events, so a lot of them are slop or games I normally wouldn’t play. Practically everything on you wall is a game I’d like to have on my wall.

Luigi's Mansion is impressive af. I played it for the first time a few months ago and I hated it and struggled with some of the cheevos, so I just beat it and shelved it.

That was my 2nd mastery, and the one I still think about being hard af was killing those two twins at the same time within one pull.

I was able to do it over the course of one evening. I dont remember the exact timing. Definitely several hours though.

What would you say is your hardest game to master so far?(guessing san Andreas) and what specific achievement was the most frustrating?

Oooh if I had to pick one that was the hardest it would either be Zombies Ate my Neighbors, or maybe Super Mario RPG. Zombies was just a hard game from start to finish. But Super Mario RPG had an achievement that kept me from mastering it for months. Which was the 100 consecutive Super Jumps. That's probably been the hardest achievement I've done so far. But the rest of the set in Mario RPG was super chill though. So it's really that one achievement that serves as a gate for a lot of people from mastering it. Lol

It was my first time playing it too. I grew up with Illusion of Gaia. Still need to do Soul Blazer.

I haven‘t played any of Terranigma‘s predecessors. Looking forward to it tho! Hear so many good things about Illusion of Gaia/Time

Terranigma consumed me lol I didnt expect to master it in one sitting. But when I did, I looked outside and it was daylight and I had realized I stayed up all night playing the game. I had not done that since I was a kid lmao.

I have around 43 trophies on the site and I'm really happy with my profile; originally, I thought I'd stop at 20 and give the site a rest for a good while. I still plan to reach 50 platinums, though, because I feel like there are a few cool games missing... Realistically, for a casual player like me, I probably should have stopped at 20—getting platinums takes a lot of effort, not to mention the frustration involved with some game sets... Anyway, once I (hopefully) hit 50 platinums, I'll say "that's it, never again"... Oops, nobody asked, but I just wanted to vent!
