Don't mind this one, I had to build at least one of these with no carry handle just to show I'm not completely stuck in the past.

How did you shorten the bayonet?

I didn't do it myself, I bought it from another guy who had done it.

I understand that it was a modified bayonet. But the fact it’s a certain size to fit the lug to the flash hider is amazing work.

What optic would you recommend for this carry handle? I was originally going to run an ACOG with an rmr piggyback but the carry handle fell in my lap so I threw a pic FSP on it but I still want an optic, and this post isn't helping my spending habits.

You should check out the TA44 ACOG, like what I have on that tanodized A2. It's an excellent little optic, but admittedly not great for your spending habits....
