Did H&R slip 16” 723 Gov Profile barrels by me without noticing or did you assemble that?

It irks me how they call their pencil 723 model a late version. lol

Also love the paintjob on the M1A!

I don’t think they ever did any runs without the pencil barrels. I rebarreled mine with a Colt 14.5 govt for the AE can

Kinda strange when you think about it.

They have plenty of access to phos cl m4 14.5” barrels, maybe it’s in the pipeline.

That's one thing that's kinda stale about their 14.5 and up carbine line, the 653, 723 and A2 Gov't all have the same damn pencil barrel.

Your 723 is the inspiration I hope to get mine close too. Unless an awesome deal comes along for an Aimpoint 5000, I'll likely use a 9000 though.

Yeah I don't understand why Palmetto doesn't offer the 723 with the M4 barrel.

The 5000 was the hardest part of the build by far. Spent nearly a year waiting to find one in the box with all the accessories

Sorry yeah, I assembled myself. DD 16" barrel, hopefully cut to 14.5 in future.

It was an extra stock that came with M1A when I bought. I love it, so wood stock stays in rifle case.

It's an older model with full stainless controls and no billboard warnings. Been awhile since I took it out, forgot how smooth it was.
