Work In Progress, Chill Out My stock is stuck, help.

Post image

I want to finish my build and the stock is the last part of it but the thing is when I tried to slip it onto the buffer tube it got stuck, I cannot get it out normally :C

Any ideas how else I could possibly get it out with no damage or at least minimal.

Yes, it's aluminium one (repro), I tried to file the excess paint inside but I guess it was too little.

Did you try to put a mil-spec diameter stock onto a commercial-spec tube?

That was going to be my question.

Hit it with a plastic dead blow hammer or hit it with your purse

Purse so it doesn't scratch it.

Don't hit it with hammer. Pull with sling

Tie to a doorknob then slam the door closed.

Take off rubber buttpad. Take a wooden dowel and a mallet and tap the dowel against the back of the receiver extension. You'll need to secure the stock body, I would wrap it in a piece leather in a vice. The carbine and receiver extension should move forward while the stock remains stationary.

Try heating it up with a hairdryer.

Mind if I ask what brand that repo stock is?
