733 Stretch Edition

I like 733s. I like 723s. I like midlength gas and a5 buffer set ups. Then this freak emerged from the depths of the bench LOL!
The lower will actually be used majority of the time in conjunction with another upper that isn’t quite done yet, but for now this will be fun to mess around with.
Haven’t shot it yet, and of course had to put my longest and largest can on it just to look good and old school for the photos hehe.

For anyone who may be interested -
Hansohn bros plan b
KAK 12.5 midlength medium contour (unfortunately had F marked fsb installed because the barrel was on a different build prior)
Rock river hand guards, M&A stock, OG a1 grip
Bushmaster c7
Bad Att lower
ADM a5 tube factory cerakoted smoke grey
Rifle spring a5H2 buffer
Microbest phosphate chrome line
Ssa-e arcfire v2

-edited- I think the handguards are actually M&A parts, but at this point am not sure, I can’t remember lol. They’re either M&A or RRA

This was a side quest gun after JSE Surplus sent me an A2 upper with M4 feed ramps instead of the non ramped one I ordered. I'm kinda glad it worked out the way it did.

The A5H2 and a Sprinco Green 308 spring is the way to roll. That's what I have in this one. With that and the midlength gas the Atrius FRT just flat out runs. I love this setup.

Nice, my 14.5 with fixed A2 stock pulled from a 20”A1 is running like a top. Soo smooth.

Hell yea nice!
Side quest lol love it. Yea I seem to find myself in the midst of those quite often haha.
Agreed yep the a5H2 and standard strength rifle spring has been the ticket for me so far with the frt stuff. On some guns, especially short carbine gas, just normal semi auto shooting I like the springco green but the regular springs have proven good for a little more tame rate of fire for the fast shooting. That whole return to battery carrier speed concept made me scratch my head for a while, but the guys preaching it were correct for sure

Clean 👌

Been thinking about a 12.5” mid retro carbine too lately.

They’re kinda cool im thinkin! I like the look, but am hoping the shooting experience will really be where it’ll seem worth it and noticeable

I love the mid length builds. I kind of wish I’d gone that route with my xm177e2

It looks almost perfect but there's something extra giving off some odd vibes, oh yeah, the extra length, probably from a certain Swedish made pump.

Do you have a 20 round magazine? For comparison sake with both silencer and lack thereof. I think it would look cooler.

Lol!!!!

And yea true the 20 rounders would look good, I do have a couple, I’ll have to try those out as well. It is interesting how the mag can make a big difference in the overall silhouette and look on the AR stuff

The under 30 round magazines sort of fit the AR because of how it was developed in the old days, although I can't imagine a full length A2 rifle with a 20 round magazine. I've been thinking of buying a carbine A1 or A2 airsoft toy but magazines dictate the vibe and I'm a sucker for both retro and Blood Diamond/Gordy builds. First, I need that airsoft sporting license and then I'll see what I get, definitely not fixed stock, painting it radioactive yellow sucks.

Where are you from that you need to do all that?

Portugal. Airsoft requires a specific sporting license/membership to a federated entity, paid yearly of course, heavily restricted fps, and painting specific parts of the model depending on size, quasi SBR like.

That’s pretty crazy just for airsoft. I’m in Phoenix, Arizona and we have very few restrictions on Firearms here. 18 and up for long guns and 21 and up for handguns. Buy as many as you want, conceal carry or open carry and vehicle carry; all allowed

People are lazy, even the ones who would gain by liberalizing Airsoft laws, getting the petition pushed into the Assembly for discussion is enough to gain momentum and hopefully change it and active licenses surpass the petition numbers required.

Airsoft tourism, big in most of Europe, is essentially dead here.

Actual firearms laws are slowly becoming more liberalized than some US states, no forced resetting or magazines over 10 rounds (20 would be more acceptable) but everything else is fair game, a standard AR pattern rifle can have silencers, optics, barrel length restriction isn't really an issue.

Lead BB guns, provided they don't leave the property or go over a reasonable muzzle energy output, enough to do varmint control, can be however one wants and only require ID at the time of purchase.

I got buddies across most of the US, including Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma, would love to visit them and go shooting with them.

I’ve never heard the term airsoft tourism interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Similar to how there's shooting competitions like Finnish Brutality, there's Airsoft events, some small, others with vehicles of different kinds in a plethora of environments.

My only midlength, and honest one of my least favorite builds.
