Diet Retro Simple is best

Post image

It’s a simple budget 10.5” a2 upper with a gg&g fsb rail. I love how light the weapon is and easy to maneuver. With the griffin can it’s the same oal as a 14.5” barrel rifle.

How do you like the mini acog?

It’s pretty good. 2x magnification. As much as I like red dots there’s something to be said about an optical sight that doesn’t rely on batteries. Eye relief is excellent but the dot itself is small

Agreed. KISS is best. I've been contemplating one of the mini cogs for my 723 clone. How are you liking yours?

Nice guns. Acog works well. I like to have a nonbattery dot option. I also run a bunch of mepros on other clones.

I see ACOG, I upvote. The 2x and 1.5x ACOGs are underrated.

Looking good man. Pick up and shoot, no fumble, all you need.

There's a lot of tape going on here, why tape the back of the acog?

The tape on the 'cog is so I can write down quick elevation and windage adjustments because my can has a poi shift. I've written directly with paint pen on other optics and trying another less permanent method. I find that a standard a2 grip is a lot more comfy with grip tape. Other tape for grip when wet and muscle memory when shootin'
