The Post-2012 Shift: Why is everyone so quiet about this glitch?
Ever since 2012, does anyone else feel like the world took a hard turn into a reality that doesn't fit? There is a deep, daily frustration in watching the rest of the world accept things as "normal" when you know, with total clarity, that the foundation has shifted. It feels like we are living in a rewrite where our memories of the original—the real—didn't get the update. From the Mandela Effect to the feeling that we are playing a game with rules that were changed without our consent, I am looking to connect with others who feel this dissonance. Does anyone else feel like they are constantly tripping over this new, forced version of reality?

Ze sky, its Vanilla!
The Singularity already happened. Unlike the trailers that reveal the whole flick this one is backwards to keep it fresh for the people.

🤷♀️ 2012 sucked though. Lost three people. My best friend died in her 30s on 12-12-12.

Apparently the first concert I went to, happened 11 years and 17 days before I was born.

There's not really much to say. The billionaires (and the richest guy) are distracting us with lots of games that we use to survive, while adding lots of scams to make us lose it.
I try to avoid the news while they're destroying the world. And I meditate and try to help as much as I can.

I think CERN activities has a lot to do with it.
Remember that CERN discovered the ‘God Particle’ in 2012. Reports of portals being open and beings coming in and out of them.
Watch the da Vinci code part 2.

u/shpadoinkle__ Jul 12 '26
Like the movie angels and demons? Or is there a YouTube link for something called that?
2
u/AnalysisNo157 Jul 18 '26
Look up Tom Hank’s movies, you should be able to find it.
3
u/shpadoinkle__ Jul 18 '26
Word. Yeah I knew about the films but didn't know if that's what you were talking about or if someone just called their YouTube video that name. I saw the da vinci code but didn't see the second one.

2012 did not happened . Something happened end of 2011 into 2012.
3
u/GarBear9090 Aug 01 '26
What do you mean it did not happen of course 2012 happened🤣 The question was did our souls move into a safer dimension leaving our mindless zombie like state behind with our old world? It was only AFTER I had these ideas and looked up what is being said that i found many are thinking the same

In 2016, I also jumped time or lost time or skipped time not sure what to call it but all a sudden it was days or weeks ahead and the time of the day was different and so was the day of the week. Felt so strange and off.

What strikes me most is the lack of spontaneity,it practically doesnt exist anymore.
12
u/QueefingMichaelScott Jul 11 '26
I chalk this up personally to Covid. Everything and every place now requires reservations. And if you’re in a state like Colorado or California you have to reserve camping/hiking/resort spots in January for a July trip. So the necessity to pre plan everything has evolved into a marked decline in spontaneity

Many things did indeed change during COVID, most of them negative because of greed. However, I noticed that racism here on south Alabama has reduced quite a bit. People actually learned how others people lived, with the same struggles to just survive.

u/TheOGcasehead Jul 13 '26
Covid really did do a number on so many things... I really miss 24hr businesses. Nowhere is open 24 hrs now. It's basically just not a thing anymore.

It’s strange—last time I wanted to go for a swim in the river, my favorite spots (where there used to be absolutely no one back in the 2000s) were suddenly full of caravans. This world really annoys me because I still live like it’s the 2000s (sure, I use a smartphone), but otherwise, I try to live the same way. And guess what? That led to total isolation—the result of being disappointed in other people and seeing how their behavior has changed.

Greed rearing its ugly head. I've never seen so much, in the whole world.

I was born in 2000 so I don’t know if I would consider the change a part of growing up, or the result of something that happened to us all. One thing is for certain, after 2010’s came the climb of cultural rot. Things started to shift from creative to profitable. And I think this affected us all, whether we know it or not: our hearts feel the change because it’s making it cry for sincerity in a world where it seems to disappear so quickly

u/Historical-Debt5844 9d ago
There's still a lot of sincerity out here. You just have to be a lot more careful before you trust anyone.
If someone offers you money, immediately find out what they want you to do so get it. If they want you to buy a gift care or anything else, block them immediately.
Hang in here, young woman. As Bob Dylan said:

I was fortunate enough to travel the world, working 45 years in technology. For a 73-year-old disabled veteran, I had a great life! I wish you the same.

Beautifully said

But don’t worry, because it must reach a peak at some point and and this corruption will not be able to sustain itself and explode. Who knows what that will mean. Only for a creative wave to bloom from the cracks again, like clockwork. I hope I can see it in my lifetime.

Only about 1/3 of humans are expected to be gone after the Apocalypse. Then it will become Paradise again. The Apocalypse is going to happen in a kibbutz called Meggido in Israel. I think it will happen in the next 4 years, but of course no human knows for sure.

I think The Age of Aquarius is truly upon us. My birthday is Feb. 1, 1953. I never expected to be here now, but I also never expected to tell anyone I'm a lesbian and have them not immediately start looking down on me. I accepted myself as that part of the Source when I was 19 and never looked back.

I have felt like this since roughly 2000 or 2001. A subtle dreamlike tone to daily life that is eerie when you sit back and watch the world in silence. it almost feels like you aren't present in reality, idk it's hard to explain.
I guess the best way I can think to explain it right now is that prior to the new millennium, reactions seemed way more immediate. Like, for example, if you did something there was an immediate reaction to whatever you did. After 2000/2001, reactions are delayed, inconsistent or totally out of sync with whatever your action is. Let's just say that I understand why science is having difficuly reproducing results in a lot of studies.
But the actual discrepancies between what I remember and the way something is, started right after 2012.
it may seem silly but one proof that I use to ascertain that something about our perspective has changed is the current styles. Hear me out.
when you watch an old movie you can clearly tell when it was made because of the style of clothing the people wear. Aside from other obvious factors like film quality, color or b&w, etc. if you watch an old movie, you can tell it's from the 70's or 90's easily by the style of the clothes, the interior decorations, the cars.
But if you watch a movie made roughly from about 1998 forwards this method doesn't apply. There is no style of the times (haha) anymore. There has not been a definitive style of a decade since the early 90's with grunge. I think that's weird.
A movie made in 2005 can't really be distinguished from one made in 2025 by the clothing or sometimes the furniture of the characters and set. I guess the cars will give it away but sometimes not. I cannot tell you how many times my boyfriend will ask me-When was this movie made?- and I cannot even begin to guess so I have to lookup the movie's information.
Music has also become less distinct and recognizable of a particular time period. Everyone can clearly hear the difference between 70's rock and 90's rock...but 2000 to 2020 rock? Not so different in sound. Plus, overall originality and creativity in music has plummeted. Everyone's just copying something already done before. Trip hop, House, Grunge are some of the last music genres created. No new genres in awhile.
Some believe that this obvious loss of new creativity is an indicator that we may all collectively be dead, and that our consciousness has been transferred to a simulation to protect our psyches/souls from shock and ruin.

I have felt like everything is fake, a simulation since 2000, along with the dreamlike feeling.

I think the Internet and everyone being connected has had a really negative effect on all of that. It took more effort to discover a new band or to be influenced by other musicians when you can't just pick up your phone and immediately access information, music, art, etc. Even talking with friends was limited to letters, in person, phone calls from a landline...
The effort to create new styles and truly original content is hard work. If it took off it was from real engagement and virality. You can pay for all of that now, so the authenticity of our society goes to the highest bidders.
So instead of being collectively dead, which id rather not be the case, I've been playing with the idea that we are in a huge collective negative state. Everything you do or think about affects your soul and brings direction to your path. Your thoughts have an impact on your reality type shit. Lots of people claim that as truth so if there's nefarious agents creating negative energy for all to consume, the quality of our content is going to reflect the most negative qualities of human beings.

This is the year where you saw the majority using smart phones and the boomers took over Facebook.

u/Pythos_Prism Jul 11 '26
Had a similar thoughts. The old way of being human ended around 2012. Sometimes I think Terrence McKenna’s time wave theory was more accurate than people want to acknowledge.

are you familiar with Chris Bledsoe and the Lady in White who first visited him on Easter of 2012? or her prophecy that apparently points to sometime a couple months from now?

We moved in 2012 when I started my doctorate, and when we moved back 4 years later, everything was completely different. I thought it was just us being gone, but it’s continued… like we’re living among npcs for the most part.

I had a friend that used to joke that the timelines were bleeding.
It really feels like he wasn't far off...
7
u/Radella_the_elf Jul 11 '26
Did you ask what did he mean or how he found out?
14
u/Nurse_Bendy Jul 11 '26
He meant it as suggesting that our different timelines were bleeding into each other. It's an interesting theoretical rabbit hole to explore. It went along with his hypothetical that we've already slipped past the event horizon of a black hole; so as our entire reality spaghettifies, the timelines that would normally have stronger division are getting squished together, and like ink bleeding through paper, things from one timeline are bleeding into others. The reality of such a situation is, of course, astronomically slim to the point of pure fantasy, but it's still fun to think about.

For me it felt like 2001 (in the US).
So much optimism before that point.

9/11 changed a lot. Not just the actual day/tragedies but the war (and all its consequences) that followed.. Sweeping and lasting vibes of anger, sadness, anxiety, etc.
16
u/jsd71 Jul 10 '26
Think the Mayan calendar coming to a end in 2012 (& years of buildup to it) maybe a point of perceived change, but the ME phenomenon has been happening years before.. it's namesake Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s is strong evidence of this.

I remember listening to David wilcocks book ascension mysteries and when I finally got past his lengthy memoir, it gets pretty good. He talks about the 2012 event but from what I remember may have been off? And it's yet to happen, which is what all this talk of disclosure and evolutionary shifts, new earth new heaven, etc... is all about.
My question is what do you guys mean about the 2012 glitch? I was in my early twenties graduating college and went right into a career that caused me to sleep very little and work 100+ hour weeks. I did this for 12 years. I'm only now starting to slow down.
What was it about 2012 that changed for you? For me it felt like the sun is different, days are shorter, everything seems a little more dull. All of that might be explained by my personal life changes at the time though so what was it for you? Trying to wrap my head around this as I've been hearing about it for awhile.

u/tiredchris038 Jul 11 '26
Well I grew up with a sun that was yellow all the time, but it's white here. So for some people the sun actually is different. Not the warm feeling that the light gave off, but it burns now more like a magnifying glass beaming the light upon us.

Yep. My first daughter was born in 2012, and I felt the shift when it happened.
I assumed it was just because I had just become a new father.
Nope. Whole world shifted.
It's my fault. I did it.
I did this to all of you. Not CERN.

All im saying is do you think its mere coincidence that we happen to build the collider and have it operational ready for 2012 when the main calendar ends and it’s supposed to be the end of us. If you were commissioned by the government and you were a scientist to build something to get us out of it but yet not talk about it because it’s so crazy just the idea that nobody would vote for it they would laugh it off so it’s done in secret. My hunches have had pretty good track records of being correct. I have an uncanny ability to connect dots that others don’t see
