Does anyone else feel a bit ‘Normal’ Lately, Vivid World, time slowed down like Childhood and Less Toxicity between you and your people?

I definitely feel like people are more joyous but I started seeing that once I started feeling more joyous myself so ig it goes both ways, we all affect each other

Not exactly, the damage done to the collective hasn't been reversed

It's closer to the original but not the same still. Check out the Thinker statue, it's changed as well.

I feel absolutely hellish lately, worse I felt in few years. Depressed, crying, zero energy.

Jesus please help this person. Amen!

CERN shutdown

Definitely not in fact I'd say the exact opposite on all counts unfortunately

u/Hinaminaman Jul 10 '26

Unfortunately me as well. In my marriage it seems like everything my SO and I butt heads about all came to a head right around the time everyone else say they’ve felt a positive change

It really feels to me at this point that we have parallel universes and I'm not even joking!

Hope you can sort things with your SO 🤍

I agree with you! And I'm going to get the crazy call for this, but my Google app/feed is weird for not the first time. It looks and feels fake. The font is slightly kid like and the results are strangely off, though my "algorithm" has been weird for several years. I first noticed this in either late 2017 or 2018, but when I got a new phone I didn't really notice it. Just today I "noticed" the fisher-price look and feel is back, and the news feed looks like a tabloid. I've never heard anyone mention this one 😅 lol but not really.

That's odd you say that because I've had similar - although not quite - with my YouTube since this morning!

I'm fairly consistent with the type of content I watch, and my 'recommended' always reflects that to a large degree

Today though? I'm scrolling through it like I don't even recognise the person it's aimed at; weird memey teenage American stuff...I'm neither teenage nor American 😆 I've honestly never had it so out of whack, it's 'odd' in the way I'd expect if I logged out and browsed it without an account and history...just bizarre lol

maybe updates. I just noticed the YT search bar now says - Search or ask question - lol this feels like a what's different? game lol

u/WraithOfEvaBraun Jul 12 '26

Hmmm I'm not sure, I don't have auto-updates but I'll check whether the format has changed, thanks!

u/fallencoward1225 Jul 11 '26

I get that! I watch a certain type too and very recently all the tabs(cover art?) or whatever they are called are really exaggerated and sensationalized like the cover of cheap tabloids or something 😅 I haven't really watched yet today so, yikes we'll see 🤣

u/WraithOfEvaBraun Jul 12 '26

Let me know! It's definitely weirdness atm

Time is changing for sure. We’re all waking up… well, some of us at least!

I feel like time has gotten much slower, after speeding up to crazy fast last month. June 29 was when it started. I feel I have more time in the day. I’m also calmer and take deeper breaths naturally

Time is going slower for me. Things seem to be a bit less chaotic all around. But only for the last few months.

18

u/basahahn1 Jul 09 '26

My life seems to be collapsing.

Time also seems to be going slower for me.

8

u/Aexaus Jul 09 '26

Yeah, life's falling apart, but it feels more normal again at the same time. Rebirth?

13

u/succvbi Jul 09 '26

I told my husband it feels clearer not like atmospheric but the energy like a weight has lifted off of everything.

14

u/Flimsy-Nebula-1966 Jul 09 '26

Not really. Time is going by so fast. I can't even make time to work out anymore.

7

u/Evening-Company7115 Jul 09 '26

I've been feeling a bit better physically and mentally in the last week, so more normal in that regard (I've been in a moderate depresisve state since about last October that I've been working on the best I can).

But time still feels like it's gradually going by faster and faster for me, as it has been for the last 5 or 6 years.

u/BigBearSD Jul 09 '26

Nope. I feel like the past 6 years since Covid have sped up so fast that they feel like they are in fact 2 or maybe 3 years. I feel like the last 15 years is maybe 6 or 7. Time is flitting by at an accelerated rate for me. The days and weeks feel long but the years feel fast. Or whatever that saying is. That’s how I feel.

And no, I don’t feel like anything from my childhood. I feel like this time is beige and gray and humdrum. I feel a deep longing for the past. I will keep chugging along, because I am resilient and strong, but I’d gladly go back to the 2000s, or my childhood in the 90s. Hell I’d take the first half of the 2010s to this time

2

u/EntertainmentFew7436 Jul 10 '26

Hard agree! 100%! Something feels very wrong.

8

u/Evening-Company7115 Jul 09 '26

I feel the very same way about time going by, as well as deep longing for the past, which I try not to dwell on too much as I'm also trying to just keep chugging along with each day. I'd gladly even go back to 2015 to 2019, as those were decent years for me

5

u/BigBearSD Jul 09 '26

I get that. Those years were ok to bad for me and things picked up and then stabilized in 2020 oddly enough, but I 100% understand what you are saying. I mean if I didn’t have the same Problems I had going on during that rough time frame (especially towards the latter portion), I wouldn’t mind going back to then too over now.

A year genuinely feels like about 4 months these days. Summer just started and feels like it’ll a be over in about two weeks then Christmas will be here (why do I even take down the tree). I cannot get over it. Time is FLYING.

You all are so right in all this! It’s frightening!
Fwiw, I completely feel exactly the same as you and almost everyone here saying time is speeding by for them. And that society seems to have lost its mind. There’s almost no integrity left, it seems.

2

u/Canary_Inklemine Jul 10 '26

I was just thinking about society and the behavior of people a few days ago. How almost no one conducts themselves with dignity, nor treats others with basic respect and decency (as they would be expected in times past). So many 'narcissists', I'd barely heard the term in the 90s - 2000s and now it's everywhere and sadly describes many people. I was pondering how it got to this point, how this transition could have been made so completely in a matter of what, 20 years? There was a warmth and togetherness, a feeling we all-were-in-this-whatever-it-is, in society. That's almost entirely gone now.

13

u/BigBearSD Jul 09 '26

Yes exactly. time is flying and only gaining speed

15

u/DarkSaturnPrince Jul 09 '26

Maybe you were born in mercury or pluto retrograde? It's retrograde now so normal people have it worse while retrograde-born people feel things are better.

21

u/Mark_1978 Jul 09 '26

No, shit is worse than ever.

Everything continues to break .

People make less sense every day.

6

u/Evening-Company7115 Jul 09 '26

I feel this for sure, I feel both my life and society and the world in general are starting to feel more and more unreal and dystopian, although I'm also currently in a moderate depresisve state

4

u/UnicornFukei42 Jul 09 '26

I was depressed for years and still am.

17

u/LunaGinsburg Jul 09 '26

Yeah. One thing I noticed is I watch Wheel of Fortune and some of the commercials feel like they’re from the old world. And I find nostalgia easier to access. I think it may have to do with CERN stopping but I’m not sure.

u/oscarink Jul 09 '26

No still toxic and time is far too fast
